That’s right, today's focus is bathroom features. Having a primary suite you don’t want to leave — complete with a spacious, beautiful bathroom — is something that we all dream about when we’re looking for a home. In Clayton Built® homes, you can find the same popular features and designs you’ll see in traditional site-built homes, and many of our models include personalization details to make sure your daily routines run smoothly and easily.
Here are five of our favorite bathroom details that you’ll find in some of our manufactured and modular homes.
Soaker Tub
The biggest trend we’re seeing for bathrooms today is a free-standing tub that’s a work of art all by itself, with a separate shower! You might think these tubs are a luxury bathroom item that’s out of your budget, but they are available in many affordable Clayton Built® models. And some even come complete with a hand shower or telephone faucet.
2. Walk-in Shower
Now we love a soaking tub to relax in, but a spa shower is also great to use every day of the week. We offer showers in new Clayton Built® homes models that are so large they don't need a shower door, and they can even have two shower heads! Rainfall shower heads are also a popular feature, as well as built-in benches for relaxing. You may have to set your alarm for earlier just to have more time to bask in the hot water.
3. Dual Sink
We love all of the beautiful and affordable primary bathroom details in our models because they help you feel welcome and ready to jump into your routine from the day you move-in. Not only do we have homes that offer separate tubs and step-in showers, they also have dual sinks with faucet designs in a variety of styles. From rustic, bronzed faucets to elegant vessel sinks to modern, wall mounted vanities, a dream bathroom can become your reality. Plus, some bathrooms even have an extra vanity built-in with the sinks or as a separate area for additional counter space.
4. Extra Privacy
A convenient feature some of our bathroom layouts offer is a private toilet, which is especially great if you share the space. With options for both primary and shared secondary bathrooms, you can have a smaller adjoining room with its own door for a toilet or even a bathtub away from the sinks. This makes getting ready in the morning easier for you and your partner and keeps siblings from fighting over bathroom access. We wish we’d had this growing up!
5. Built-In Storage
We are huge believers in beautiful, functional design. For example, think about all the smaller items you want in your bathroom area, from bath linens and toiletries to soothing candles and potted plants. Keep them organized in style with storage features like built-in drawers and cubbies, wall hooks, linen closets and tub shelves.
